Social Security Teachers Kit. The Social Security Administration has developed a kit to helpteachers educate high school students about the Social Security system.The kit was produced in response to the need for more information andbetter understanding of the program that affects virtually all workingAmericans throughout their lives. The set of materials contains five lesson plans each for one to twoclass sessions, an overview lesson plan, a teacher's guide, factsheets, handouts, quizzes, a bibliography bibliography.The listing of books is of ancient origin. Lists of clay tablets have been found at Nineveh and elsewhere; the library at Alexandria had subject lists of its books. and a videotape videotapeMagnetic tape used to record visual images and sound, or the recording itself. There are two types of videotape recorders, the transverse (or quad) and the helical. . The kit, called "Social Security and You," is designed tobe used in grades 9-12, but it may also be used in adult educationclasses. The Social Security Administration recommends it for use byteachers of social studies, government, economics, and for teachers ofcareer and technical education courses such as family and consumersciences.
